TLSC-E celebrates 20 years of sustaining Europe - Capt. Steven A. Shapiro (front row, far left) poses for a photo with members of the 29th Area Support Group, circa 1995. The support group was a pre-cursor to the Theater Logistics Support Center-Europe which is now a brigade-level, multifunctional logistics organization subordinate to the 21st Theater Sustainment Command. The TLSC-E celebrated its 20th anniversary, July 2018. Presently, Shapiro is now a Major General and the commanding general of the 21st TSC.

Theater Logistics Support Center-Europe - Schwebel Volodymyr, a maintenance specialist with the 21st Theater Sustainment Command’s Theater Logistics Support Center-Europe and a native of Slavyansk, Ukraine, removes components from inside an M1A2 Abrams tank in preparation for cleaning and retrograde maintenance Dec. 11 on Kaiserslautern Army Depot. The tank belongs to 1st Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division and will return to the U.S. after use in the Baltic region of Europe during Operation Atlantic Resolve.
