The 1st Theater Personnel Operations Center ensures execution of theater contingency postal operations; reception, staging, and onward movement; and human resources planning and operations. Additionally, the 1st TPOC executes casualty operation, personnel accountability and strength reporting under the direct supervision of U.S. Army Europe and Africa G1. The unit receives technical guidance and policy direction from the USAREUR-AF G1 while directly supporting theater human resources organization and Theater Security Cooperation missions as directed by the 21st Theater Sustainment Command. On order, the unit deploys to provide modular Human Resources Enterprise support.
