Soldiers from the 21st Special Troops Battalion joined Dutch allied partners during the Wageningen Liberation Parade in the Netherlands on May 5, 2024. This parade commemorated the final resistance of German Forces occupying the Netherlands in the Second World War. The event allowed the U.S. and its allies to reflect on the meaning of freedom and strengthen its ongoing relationship.

Carlos Feliciano, unit supply specialist, 21st STB disassembles his M4 carbine rifle during the last event of the Expert Soldier Badge at Rhine Ordnance Barracks, Kaiserslautern, Germany, on May 10, 2024. Twenty-seven Expert Soldier Badge finalists culminated the testing week by completing a 12-mile ruck march and disassembling and reassembling an M4 carbine rifle. Throughout the week, they proved their proficiency in physical training, marksmanship, land navigation, weapons, and medical triage.
