The 21st Theater Sustainment Command is U.S. Army Europe and Africa's lead organization for all sustainment activities including logistics support, transportation, combat sustainment, human resources, finance, contracting and all other areas in the field of sustainment. The 21st TSC also serves as the responsible headquarters for Strong Europe's Military Police, Medical and Sustainment brigades, providing combat engineers and military police to partnership training and other operations in support of Strong Europe, U.S. Africa Command and U.S. Central Command. Headquartered in Kaiserslautern, Germany, with units throughout the Strong Europe Area of Operations, the Soldiers of the 21st TSC are truly positioned to be Strong Europe's key enabler, where and when it is needed.

 

16th Sustainment Brigade

Provides mission command of 3-7 sustainment and/or functional logistics battalions and assigned human resources and financial management companies. On order, the 16th Sustainment Brigade conducts theater opening and distribution and redeployment operations.

 


 

18th Military Police Brigade

Deploys units and individuals in support of Unified Land Operations while enhancing security and enabling mobility. The 18th Military Police Brigade conducts law enforcement operations in order to provide safe and secure environments.

 


 

30th Medical Brigade

Provides scalable mission command for assigned or attached medical functional units task-organized in support of a deployed division/corps. On order, 30th Medical Brigade provides modular medical capabilities to U.S. Army Europe contingency plans.

 


 

7th Mission Support Command

Anticipates, plans and coordinates with U.S. government agencies and foreign nations in order to rapidly and efficiently provide coordinated disaster response and foreign consequence management in support of U.S. Army Europe and Africa, and host nation requests.

 


 

405th Army Field Support Brigade

Provides and coordinates tactical, operational, and strategic sustainment to ensure theater readiness and enable commanders to conduct unified action and the full range of military operations in direct support of U.S. Army Europe and Africa, and U.S. Army Africa Command. 

 


409th Contracting Support Brigade

Serves as the Principal Assistant Responsible for Contracting (PARC) and executes efficient, effective and agile contracting support throughout U.S. Army Europe and Africa's area of responsibility. 

 

 


 

Theater Logistics Support Center - Europe

Executes theater sustainment and force protection support and maintains the theater sustainment base by providing logistical services to joint, combined, Army and multinational forces supporting U.S. Army Europe and Africa, and theater combatant commands.

 


 

266th Financial Management Support Center

Provides full-spectrum, responsive finance and accounting services in the U.S. Army Europe and Africa, joint and combined theaters while enhancing capability for the combatant commander through cash management, contracting support and accountability on the battlefield. 

 

 


 

1st Theater Personnel Operations Center 

Ensures execution of Theater Contingency Postal Operations; Reception, Staging, and Onward Movement; and provides Human Resources Planning and Operations support.

 

 


 

21st TSC Special Troops Battalion

Executes essential personnel services and human resources support; provides military justice, training, logistics, airdrop and religious support; and other functions as directed in order to enhance the 21st TSC's ability to execute its assigned missions.
